Professional development workshops
Human Resources holds several professional development workshops throughout the year, available to staff and faculty. Eligible staff and faculty can apply to use their PD funding for these workshops. Visit our catalog to see a full listing of upcoming events.
Lynda.com offers an online collection of self-guided instructional videos designed to provide staff and faculty with just-in-time resources to assist in a variety of areas, including updating software skills, learning new technology tools, and enhancing workplace business practices.

The Coaching at UBC program offers free one-on-one professional coaching services for staff and faculty. Coaching is a great way to explore topics of interest to you, and to start to map out a plan for your own professional development.
