Subject: Faculty and Staff Salary Changes – Implementation Effective July 1, 2018


We are pleased to advise that HR and Payroll are implementing a number of changes to faculty and staff salaries.

Faculty

Faculty in the bargaining unit will receive a 2% salary increase, comprising:

  • 1.5% General Wage Increase
  • 0.5% Mutual Beneficial Gains Increase

In addition, faculty are eligible for Progress Through the Ranks (PTR) increases. For information on the faculty salary increase implementation, please visit /bcc/faculty-relations/compensation/faculty-salary-increases/.

Research Associates will receive a 0.5% General Wage Increase. Information on salaries for Research Associates is available at /bcc/faculty-relations/recruitment/titles-ranks-descriptions/research-associates/#7.

Staff

The following staff groups will receive a General Wage Increase of 0.5%:

  • AAPS
  • BCGEU Okanagan
  • Executive Administrative
  • Non-Union Technicians/Research Assistants
  • Farm Workers

Members of CUPE 2278 will receive a General Wage Increase of 1.0%, and the 0.4% Economic Stability Dividend.
