Subject: General Wage Increase for CUPE 2278 Effective September 1, 2018


We are pleased to announce that HR and Payroll are in the process of implementing the 0.5% General Wage Increase for UBC staff represented by CUPE 2278, effective September 1, 2018.

The Sept. 1, 2018, pay scales are available on our website at /bcc/compensation/salary-administration/salary-scales/. We ask that you use the new pay scales for all appointments with start dates September 1, 2018, or later.

Please note that we will not be updating budget amounts in Position Management.?Departments are responsible for these updates.
